Villa Aurora | Räume mit Aussicht. Crossatlantic Narratives - Stipendiat:innen 2022 der Villa Aurora in Haus Kunst Mitte

Der Verein Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House e. V. präsentiert erstmalig drei wochenlang im Haus Kunst Mitte - House for Contemporary Art in Berlin-Mitte eine Ausstellung seiner Kunststipendiat:innen: Ali El-Darsa, Silke Fischer, Anna Haifisch, Antje Majewski, Lukas Schilling, Sonya Schönberger, Siska und Clemens von Wedemeyer. Die Ausstellung Räume mit Aussicht bringt künstlerische Impulse aus Los Angeles nach Berlin und gibt einen Einblick in die entstandenen Projekte der Stipendiat:innen der Villa Aurora. Die acht Künstler:innen lebten 2022 für drei Monate in Los Angeles und entwickelten vor Ort neue künstlerische Ansätze und Fragestellungen. In der Ausstellung treten die Stipendiat:innen durch ihre Arbeiten in einen Dialog und präsentieren ihre unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf Kalifornien.

For the first time, the Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House association presents an exhibition of its art fellows at Haus Kunst Mitte - House for Contemporary Art in Berlin-Mitte: Ali El-Darsa, Silke Fischer, Anna Haifisch, Antje Majewski, Lukas Schilling, Sonya Schönberger, Siska und Clemens von Wedemeyer. The exhibition Rooms with a View brings artistic ideas and inspirations from Los Angeles to Berlin and provides an insight into the projects created by the fellowship holders of Villa Aurora. The eight artists lived in Los Angeles for three months in 2022,developing new artistic approaches and perspectives. Through the works on display in the exhibition, the fellows engage in a dialogue with each other and present their different artistic perspectives on California.
