Seit 1999 hat es in Europa keine Einzelausstellung zu dem zeichnerischen Werk Franz Erhard Walthers gegeben. Ausgehend von dem einzigartigen Sammlungsbestand der Franz Erhard Walther Foundation präsentiert die VILLA ab dem 27.09.2026 mit der Ausstellung DEM MOND GEWIDMET das komplexe zeichnerische Œuvre.
Mit Hunderten von Zeichnungen, darunter noch nie präsentierten Arbeiten aus dem Atelier, bietet sich den Besucher:innen die Möglichkeit, diesen außergewöhnlichen Werkkomplex zu entdecken.

There has not been a solo exhibition of Franz Erhard Walther’s drawings in Europe since 1999. Drawing on the unique collection of the Franz Erhard Walther Foundation, the VILLA will present the complex body of drawings in the exhibition DEM MOND GEWIDMET (Dedicated to the Moon), opening on 27 September 2026.
With hundreds of drawings, including works from the artist’s studio that have never before been exhibited, visitors will have the opportunity to discover this extraordinary body of work.
